Situation
For eight years, Surerange was a leader
in selling consumer Windows CE software. The Palm-size
PC was Microsoft's first vertical format device and
didn't bundle in a Spreadsheet. Pocket Spreadsheet was
written to fill that gap.
Solution
I
designed, coded and tested the application. All
software was written in Embedded Visual C++. The
program itself was a challenge to write due to the
device's very small stack space.
A
separate PC based Activesync filter was written to
convert Excel to Pocket Spreadsheet format (and
vice-versa).
