Pocket Solver allows you to solve equations on your Handheld PC, Palm-size PC or Pocket PC. You type in an equation and enter values for all but one of the variables. Unlike a spreadsheet or calculator, any unknown variable can be found without having to rearrange the equation.

In the following example, we wanted to know what principal would give us $200 at an interest rate of 5% over three years:
