Situation

For eight years, Surerange was a leader in selling consumer Windows CE software. A graphical calculator project was proposed - the first for the hardware keyboard based Handheld PCs. 

Solution

I designed, coded and tested the application. All software was written in Embedded Visual C++.

Benefits

A unique solution was produced in a matter of weeks and the application soon became a top-seller.

Pocket GraphCalc is a powerful graphical calculator that plots equations. It doubles as a normal calculator offering many functions not available with the in-built Windows CE calculator.

• Plot many equations on one graph!
• Use the pen to determine a particular (x,y) coordinate
• Define your own  graph (x,y) limits
• Zoom and scroll the display

• Perform 'normal' calculations using the in-built paper tape and memory
